In January 2019, Consumer Reports conducted a nationally representative survey of 4,000 Americans about their use of CBD products. The two largest groups are individuals in their 20s-30s with 40% of respondents stating that they have used CBD. The other significant group is those aged 60 years and older. Within this group, 15% reported using CBD but this number is growing.
